Register of Deeds for Anson County
Personal and Family
Honorable Greg L. Eudy was appointed Anson County Register of Deeds in November 2018 fulfilling the remainder of the term of the Honorable Joanne S. Huntley. Greg went to work in the Register of Deed office in 2015 learning beneficial skills from Mrs. Huntley. Upon taking over, Greg implemented changes to the software program and daily processes which helped streamline the day to day operations without any additional cost to the county. Greg is a member of the North Carolina Association of Register of Deeds (NCARD) and currently serves on the Election Committee and the Land Records Management and Indexing Committee. Greg is a Certified Register of Deeds, certified by NCARD in May, 2020. Greg is also a member of the Anson County Chamber of Commerce.
With many family members having served in the military, Greg has always been a supporter of our Veterans. He was excited to participate in Anson County’s pilot program “Thank A Vet”. “Thank A Vet” was started by Guilford County Register of Deeds Jeff Thigpen and has spread across the state. The program offers discounts to Veterans through local participating businesses.
Most of Greg’s valuable experience came from his involvement at the title company he owns and has operated over the past 25 years. This provided him with management skills as well as the incredibly important knowledge of how documents are recorded and indexed. His abilities as a title underwriter and title abstractor have fully prepared him for the Office of the Register of Deeds.
Greg has lived in Anson County for 47 years. He and his wife Tara, have two children, Kyle Eudy and Kari Prickett. Greg is also an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys hunting, fishing and training his two labrador retrievers for hunt test competitions. His greatest enjoyment now comes from spending time with his family and being called PaPa by his grandchildren Vann, Grey and Kate.
